A TRIAL RUN: Professor Hoffman talks about how the pandemic has been like a trial run for the upcoming climate change crisis and how more and more companies are paying attention to the role they can play in society's problems following the development of COVID-19 vaccines and shifting their focus on climate change and sustainability. MISPLACED PRIORITIES: Professor Haigh talks about how well before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out there was already an awareness in academe and government of a looming pandemic at the most serious level of impact and she provides several examples of how the root causes of climate change increase the risk of the impact of pandemics.
