Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease, HFMD) is an infectious viral condition involving a rash on the hands, feet and mouth. Multiple viruses can cause Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, including Coxsackieviruses and Enteroviruses. In this lesson, we discuss how these viruses are transmitted and how they cause infection, the prodrome of this condition, how the rash evolves, how this condition is diagnosed and how it is treated.

NOTE: I forgot to mention that the virus can also be transmitted from blister fluid as well!
