The wild- nature

Domesticated- living in a house with people

Anthropomorphize- putting human characteristics onto animals

Fur- animal hair

Feathers- long special hair on a bird

Hooves- animal feet, like horses and goats

Reptiles- animals that are cold-blooded, with scales

Mammals- animals that are warm-blooded, with hair

Amphibians- animals that can live in the water and on land, no scales

Battery farming- industrial practice of putting lots of animals in rows of small cages

Specimen- research subject

Guinea pig- idiom for anything that is experimented on

Where does it live? Is it native to the area? What is it used for? What are its characteristics?
