There are three main kinds of subordinate clause: adverbial clauses, relative clauses and reported clauses. In this lesson Marc discusses \"adverbial clauses\", more precisely \"Time Clauses\". These are used in order to establish when something happens by indicating a period of time or another event (after, when, while, etc.). The most common is \"when\", however you could replace it by using \"the next time, long before, or the last time\".

In this lesson I want to concentrate on adverbial clauses
This lesson is intended for intermediate students who wish to improve their English grammar, and for those above levels who wish to clear up doubts about this topic.\n
