These pathways can be activated independently of each other; however, because each of these pathways complements one another, it is not surprising that the Ras Raf MEK ERK pathway can potently regulate and activate the mTOR signaling pathway to induce downstream effects necessary for cellular proliferation. In this lesson, you will learn the basics of each of these pathways, along with the critical regulatory junctions within the pathways and the mechanisms by which the Ras Raf MEK ERK pathway regulates the mTOR pathway.\n
