Today we deep dive into what this means for you and how this could...\nNEW Facebook Group Types for 2019 // As announced at the recent Facebook F8 conference we will soon be seeing new Facebook groups and the removal of other group types. Today we deep dive into what this means for you and how this could help you going forward. Facebook will be simplifying the group types in the coming weeks and months to make it easier to understand the features and the functions needed, and/or offered to a set group type. Facebook are removing the following groups - Close Friends, Clubs, Events and Plans, Family, Neighbors, Parents, Projects, Class or School, Study Group, Support, Team, Travel, and Custom. This will be replaced with just 4 main group types - General, Jobs, Health and Support, and Gaming. This change will make it much easier to understand what features will best suit a group. For example, the gaming group type will have the ability to add a live chat room feature. The Jobs group is all about hiring and finding news jobs so will have the ability to interact and engage with a company or its potential employer.
