She is passionate about creating schools that embrace change, foster collaborative learning and where communities of thinkers thrive because of a shared love of learning.

She received an EdD from Seton Hall University in 2007. Brady comes to Dobbs Ferry after serving four years as superintendent in the Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, NJ; she had a 25-year career in public education in that state.

She has received the McGovern Award for National Leadership in Drug Abuse Prevention, New Jersey Student Assistance Counselors Award for Leadership in Drug Abuse Prevention, National Student Assistance Award for Journalism Excellence, Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year Award 2009.

Brady believes that rather than compare Dobbs Ferry to other schools and one grade level to another, the district has to look at each individual child and how he or she is improving from year to year.

\"Our goal has to be making sure each individual child reaches his or her full potential,\" Brady said.\n
