He has experience leading a range...\nAs a full-time educational consultant, Dr. Brandon L. Wiley works with schools, districts, networks and educational organizations around the world to help them with continuous improvement and planning. He has experience leading a range of district, state and national initiatives. As the Founder and President of GlobalEdLeader, he primarily works with organizations and school districts in strategic planning and program development, system-wide innovation, leadership development and the promotion of global competence for adults and students. As the Executive Director of Asia Society's International Studies Schools Network, he led the growth and development of a national network of design-driven public and charter schools, providing strategic support to districts and school leadership around global competence, mastery-based learning, school development and the promotion of deeper learning. He also served as Senior Director of School Development for Springpoint, a NY-based organization that focused on helping urban school districts develop mastery-based high schools that personalized learning for every student to redefine the typical high school experience. Brandon also served as the Director of Staff Development and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the West Seneca Central School District (NY).

With experience as a classroom teacher, staff developer, district administrator and national education leader, Brandon offers practical experience in implementing school and district reforms and innovative programs. Brandon holds several degrees from the State University of New York at Fredonia in elementary education, curriculum and instruction, and district administration. He also holds a doctoral degree in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. His most recent published work can be found in Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs recent book with Solution Tree, Leading the New Literacies, in which he authored a chapter called, \"Leading for Global Competence: A Schoolwide Approach.\"\n
