In this lesson you can learn about each task in the IELTS B1 Life Skills exam, and what to do during each section of the IELTS Life Skills Exam.

The IELTS Life Skills exam has two levels: A1 and B1. In this lesson, we'll focus on the B1 exam. However, the tasks in the A1 exam are similar, so a lot of the advice you'll hear is useful for both levels.

The B1 IELTS Life Skills exam lasts around 20 minutes. You take the exam with one other candidate. Sometimes, the examiner will ask you questions, and sometimes you need to talk to your partner and complete tasks together.

This lesson will help you:
- Learn how to complete the introduction portion of the IELTS Life Skills exam.
- Understand how to find information when the examiner has you ask your partner questions.
- Give a presentation and answer questions about it.
- Ways to best complete the IELTS Life Skills Learning part of the exam.
- Learn how to do the Planning Activity in the IELTS Life Skills exam.
- Do the open discussion at the end of the exam.
