But one day, after performing at a school assembly, Pat learned that his father could see him much more clearly than he realized. This story is part of our STONEWALL OUTLOUD collection. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in June 1969, StoryCorps is working to preserve the personal histories of members of the LGBTQ community.
