Trump won the presidential election on 2016. 1) He ran a totally new type of campaign. -Jeb said you can’t win your way to the presidency by insulting people, he DID. He spent far less $ than any candidate in recent memory and he won, resoundingly. Twitter was his main weapon. -1 Tweet could send the media into frenzy for a week, where it was all Trump all the time. -The media soundbites didn’t work anymore because they would edit what the man said, but now people could go and find it for themselves. 2) The grassroots hates the media + they’ve known about the bias for a long time. This election brought it out like never before. -The media is out of touch with Middle America. -People are sick of the PC nonsense (fake hate crimes + poop swastikas, the triggering, and safe spaces, and identity politics). -People are sick of the social justice warriors, BLM, the whining, marching, the rioting and the crying. Trump spoke directly to the disillusioned Americans. 3) The Republicans picked a fighter this time. The VOTERS did. – Not the establishment. -None of the other candidates would have fought back like Trump did. -The media CREATED Donald Trump by trying to destroy him! Every attack made him MORE popular. 4) TRUMP CRUSHED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF BOTH PARTIES! -This was a populist year, and the Democrats (not the voters) picked the worst possible candidate. -Hillary is highly unlikable -Hillary might be the most corrupt politician in American history. -The young Democrats HATE her! 5) The MEDIA COVERED FOR HER CONSTANTLY -They could NOT talk about her. – Too corrupt. 3 minutes on Wikileaks and 45 minutes on the latest Trump accuser. -This election was never about Hillary in the coverage because it COULDN’T BE. They couldn’t talk about her. 6) TRUMP HAD THE AMAZING SUPPORT -Despite the NY Times saying that Hillary was 95% chance to win, no one with any real sense of what was going on could possibly believe it. -Trump 25 to 30,000 rabid supporters at rallies, Hillary would get 500. High energy/low energy. -6,000 would show up for Pence, 25 would show up for Tim Kaine. -Media acted shocked that he won. I wondered what the heck planet they are living on. 7) Americans are sick of the Establishment -Republicans threw their support behind JEB and others, but the voters picked otherwise. -RNC didn’t spend any money supporting Trump. He raised record numbers of cash on Facebook from average Americans. -The Democrats should have chosen someone else, anyone else. -They didn’t, they decided it was her turn, no matter what. The same thing the Republicans did with Dole + McCain. -Suicide in a populist year. Again, completely out of touch. 8) The Democrat Party has moved insanely far to the LEFT. -People are sick of identity politics. -The Democrats have abandoned their old base. -Trump heard voices others have been ignoring. -Their campaigns are divisive – the very thing they always accuse the Republicans of being. 9) BOTH PARTIES MIGHT BE IN TROUBLE -For Republicans to win, they HAVE to change their game. -Trump could destroy the party, or revolutionize it. -He got 7% more of the African American vote than Romney did! -The DNC and the WALL STREET types going with Hillary infuriated a LOT of young Democrats! 10) Americans are sick to death of celebrities too. -No one cares what Katy Perry, Beyonce, JayZ, or Miley Cyrus cares. Especially in the Heartland of America. -When Casey Neistat came out, along with a bunch of other Youtubers, I knew she was in trouble. Her campaign was paying Youtbers to make videos supporting her. 11) Globalization is NOT POPULAR -There was a WHOLE OTHER side to this election that most voters did not ever see. The normal issues, media bias, the identity politics might have dominated the headlines, but the truly informed voters were on a whole other level. -Figure it out, politicians. Brexit. The West is swinging right. LePen, Alternative for Germany. -The media does the same thing, dubbing them Nazis, when they are not. You keep it up, you just might get there. -Many people want to see their country’s interest put first. -Mass migration of people/open borders/ not popular issues. 12) NATIONALISM IS ON THE RISE HOW HE DID IT -Hit issues, like the wall and immigration early on to win the Republican primary. -People have been begging for this for my entire lifetime. -No other Republicans would touch it. Again, Trump had the courage. -Then he knew exactly where to grab the votes to win the swing states. -Those abandoned Democrat voters. -The Rust Belt and Western Pennsylvania.\n
