Chinese New Year officially begins on February 5th, 2019, and ends on February 19th. Chinese New Year festival celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in modern China. In preparation for the celebrations here is a video showing how to make all of the Chinese Zodiac Animals. The objective of the puzzle is to form a specific shape using all seven pieces. It is reputed to have been invented in China, the original name in Chinese translates literally as β€œseven boards of skill’ There are over 6500 shapes and pictures that can be created using the tangram puzzle. The ones in this video are the letters of the alphabet. Designed to teach children letter recognition and introduce them to the tangram puzzle, a fun way to learn.
