Through objects such as Greek vases and colonial masks of Nigeria, and people like Elvis Presley and Neil Armstrong, Frank emerges from the museum with an enriched understanding of history - and himself. ---- Review 1 Frank visits the museum where his mum works and strange things happen - the exhibits are coming to life. It is chaos with wild stone men, tigers and other characters roaming around. Frank has an adventure with the plastic skeleton who is obsessed by doughnuts. Frank saves his mum from danger and finds out the truth about the Wild Man of Ashton Forest. This book was a mixture of horror and humour... I enjoyed it very much. The humour is mixed with tension and suspense as the story unfolds. There is also plenty of social history lurking under the surface.
