The Chinese version of Mamma Mia! has broken new ground, bringing London's West End to the Chinese population in their own language. As the newest world market for West End theatre what does the success of Mamma Mia! say about opportunities in China for British theatre and what does an appetite for West End productions say about modern China? The transcript and downloadable versions of the lecture are available from the Gresham College website Gresham College has been giving free public lectures since 1597.
