Trump denies the affair ever happened and his campaign had said he knew nothing about the payment.\u003cbr/\u003e              Trump and Cohen appear to be discussing buying the rights to McDougal's story from the Enquirer's parent company.\u003cbr/\u003e              Cohen can be heard on the tape saying that he needed to start a company \"for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend David,\" a possible reference to David Pecker, Trump's friend and president of the National Enquirer's parent company, American Media Inc.\u003cbr/\u003e              When Cohen begins to discuss financing, Trump interrupts him and asks, \"What financing?\"\u003cbr/\u003e              \"We'll have to pay,\" Cohen responded.\u003cbr/\u003e              The audio is muffled, but Trump can be heard saying \"pay with cash,\" though it isn't clear if he is suggesting to pay with cash or not to pay with cash. And they say in the audio, they claim that the audio suggests that he suggested doing it by cash. Now the audio that we all heard, that has made the rounds on media, is a little tough to make out. It certainly does appear that Trump is suggesting cash which Cohen very quickly says no to suggest that it should be done by check. He says that they have this recording they enhanced it and by listening you know pulling out the good audio and listening to it they released the transcript and in the transcript it says the president is saying no cash. That instead suggesting it be done by by check. And Giuliani also points out that if since there was discussion of doing it by a corporation earlier, as he put it, if he were trying to hide something you don't do it by establishing a corporation. You don't do it by check. You would do it by cash. And he's claiming the audio suggests the president does not want to cash. However he has not released this enhanced version of the audio.
