Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books.\u003cbr/\u003e              A quidditch team is mixed gender and composed of seven athletes who play with a broom between their legs.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"The most important thing about Quidditch is diversity, its inclusivity,\" said Liam McCoppin, assistant coach the Australian team. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's a mixed sport, mixed gender sport, so we've got males, females and also non-binary people.\" \u003cbr/\u003e              The field of the game is divided into two parts and the aim is to throw a ball called a 'quaffle' through the opposite team's hoops - which wins 10 points - while 'seekers' try to catch the 'snitch', a sock with a tennis ball inside it, attached to a runner's shorts. \u003cbr/\u003e              The game ends when a seeker catches the snitch.\u003cbr/\u003e              Twenty-nine teams from around the world, including the UK, Australia, Belgium, Turkey, Mexico and South Korea, will compete against each other over the weekend. \u003cbr/\u003e              This year's games will continue until July 1, with the final match taking place on Sunday evening. \u003cbr/\u003e              The IQA World Cup takes place every two years. \u003cbr/\u003e              The first edition was held in the UK city of Oxford in 2012 and then in Canada in 2014 and Germany in 2016. \u003cbr/\u003e              The US team won the first and second tournaments, but was defeated by the Australian team in 2016.\u003cbr/\u003e              The Quidditch World Cup is organised by the Municipality of Florence, the Region of Tuscany, the International Quidditch Association and Human Company group.\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              Florence - 27 June 2018\u003cbr/\u003e              1.
