The Mori Building Digital Art Museum is displaying more than 50...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eLEADIN:\u003cbr/\u003e              An interactive digital art museum that's just opened in Tokyo is challenging visitors to think differently about the world around them. \u003cbr/\u003e              The Mori Building Digital Art Museum is displaying more than 50 multimedia artworks for an exhibit called 'Borderless'. \u003cbr/\u003e              STORYLINE:\u003cbr/\u003e              Entering a new three-dimensional world where visitors can become part of the artwork on display.\u003cbr/\u003e              This is the surreal world of the Mori Building Digital Art Museum. \u003cbr/\u003e              It's a collaboration between Japanese real estate company Mori Building and multimedia art collective teamLab to permanently display interactive installations.  \u003cbr/\u003e              They've brought together 50 artworks in a dedicated 10,000 square metre space, utilizing 520 computers and 470 projectors to create a digital-only museum.\u003cbr/\u003e              People can interact with the displays, making each experience unique thanks to technologies like AI (artificial intelligence), sensors and sound. \u003cbr/\u003e              The museum officially opened its doors to visitors on Thursday 21 June with more than 700 people waiting in line to see the sold out exhibition called 'Borderless'.  \u003cbr/\u003e              Organisers say the artworks have no borders. Some installation rooms extend into the hallways and connect with other artworks while others overlap each other. \u003cbr/\u003e              When stepping on to the floor, a flower may grow out from the ground or the touch of a colourful ball could trigger a change in colour making each experience different.. \u003cbr/\u003e              Toshiyuki Inoko, CEO of teamLab describes it as a borderless world that changes over time. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"This world changes after five minutes, next month it'll be different, and the month after that it will be a different kind of world. The presence of people who come to the exhibition will also make a change to this world. This is a world here, people who come here can experience something new.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Ahead of the 2020 Olympics, teamLab and Mori Building hope that by creating the world's first museum dedicated to digital art, it will help boost Tokyo's cultural status. \u003cbr/\u003e              Ou Sugiyama, the Head of the Office of Planning and Operation at Mori Building Digital Art Museum says: \"In New York you have the MOMA and in Paris you have the Louvre Museum. So in each well-known city around the world, there is a cultural facility that represents that country. So we hope that in Tokyo, such cultural facilities will also increase and hope that this museum will also become one of those facilities.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              According to the Global Power City Index by Mori Building's think tank, Mori Memorial Foundation, it found that when comparing Tokyo to other cities like London and New York, it lacked cultural interaction, while other areas like economy, environment and liveability were strong areas for the Japanese capital.\u003cbr/\u003e                \u003cbr/\u003e              Alissia Bruellmann, a 22 year-old visitor says it's an amazing experience. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"I am super impressed. I've been to the thing where it's like little rain drops, I mean. I was like 'oh my gosh', I have never seen anything like this.
