It's set to launch 19 October.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's Royale!\" says DICE creative director Lars Gustavsson.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"That is the hot topic, that is the hot genre now,\" says Ryan McCaffrey from IGN - the games and entertainment publisher.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"So, it's going to be interesting to see Battlefield's take on that.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              EA also revealed 'Anthem,' a brand-new title by popular Canadian developers BioWare, makers of the 'Mass Effect' franchise.\u003cbr/\u003e              The multiplayer title sees gamers explore a mysterious world, flying using so-called 'Javelin Exosuits.' It's due out 22 February next year.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"We wanted to create a brand-new world for people to discover,\" says BioWare general manager Casey Hudson.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"A whole new world of story and character. We also wanted to do something that was more of a dynamic and living world. A game that would change every time he came back and played it.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              \"The thing about 'Anthem,' I think that makes gamers excited is that it's a new game, it's a new intellectual property,\" says McCaffrey.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Gaming is so overrun with franchises because of course that's just how these things work. You hit something big and it's a franchise. So, gamers love new ideas, new IPs.\" \u003cbr/\u003e              Developers said neither 'Battlefield V' or 'Anthem' will have so-called 'Loot Boxes.'\u003cbr/\u003e              Last year, Electronic Arts angered fans with its latest Star Wars game, 'Battlefront II.' \u003cbr/\u003e              Fans found they either had to play for hours or purchase loot boxes in order to access some of the game's content.\u003cbr/\u003e              The game's design director Dennis Brannvall admitted things hadn't gone to plan.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"We launched our game in November of last year and clearly we didn't get it quite right,\" he says. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"So, instead of coming out of the gate sprinting, like we really wanted to, we had to take a step back and make sure that we were delivering the game that our players really wanted.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's good to see them kind of come out with a slice of humble pie on their plates and just reiterate; 'Hey, we're trying to be better, we're trying to improve. We're not going to do the loot box thing, either in 'Battlefield' or in 'Anthem'.'
