The significant keynote speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at the opening of Boao Forum for Asia summarizes the notable achievements and glorious practice of the reform and opening up in the past four decades, sums up the valuable experiences we draw in the 40 years and underlines our great contributions to the world. \u003cbr/\u003e              The reform and opening up is a historic decision that changes the nation's future and destiny, as well as the great experience that has promoted the world revitalization and prosperity. China becomes stronger and accomplished win-win cooperation with other countries in the process of reform and opening up. \u003cbr/\u003e              As President Xi Jinping pointed out that the reform and opening up is the second revolution of China, it does not only fundamentally changed China but also profoundly influence the whole world. The reform and opening up is China's basic state policy, and they are mutually reinforcing. \u003cbr/\u003e              We kept stressing that we will not close the door to reform but will only open it wider. This morning, President Xi Jinping announced a series of important measures to expand the opening up, including  easing market access, improving business environment, strengthening IPR protection, and proactively increasing import. This announcement has been warmly received by the guests at the site and widely acclaimed by the international community. \u003cbr/\u003e              At present, the unilateralism and protectionism are rising, the multilateral trade system is facing challenges and the process of economic globalization is confronted with difficulties. Against such a backdrop, China holds high the banner of trade and investment liberalization, promotes an open model of world economy, and calls for win-win intentional cooperation. In addition, we actively announced a series of major measures to further expand opening up. China's moves added strong impetus and support to the international trade growth and global economic development.
