STORYLINE:             ...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eLEADIN \u003cbr/\u003e              In Jordan, as in much of the Arab world, people with Down's Syndrome often struggle to integrate into mainstream life.\u003cbr/\u003e              Finding jobs can be particularly difficult. \u003cbr/\u003e              STORYLINE:\u003cbr/\u003e              Ayman Ashaib is 20 years old and loves his job at McDonald's in Amman.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"I was looking for a job, then I got a job in order to earn money to help my family, to travel, to get married and have a home, like other people,\" he says.\u003cbr/\u003e              Ashaib has Down's Syndrome, which for many in the Arab world can prove difficult when looking for employment.\u003cbr/\u003e              Loved by staff and customers, Ashaib is proof that those with Down's are capable of integrating in daily life and being successful in the workplace.\u003cbr/\u003e              At Jasmine Society for Children with Down Syndrome, founder Awatif Abu Alrub works to educate Jordanian society about the capabilities of those with Down's Syndrome.\u003cbr/\u003e              The centre offers training, community and learning resources for those with the condition as well as support for their families. \u003cbr/\u003e              But according to Alrub, society and employers are still slow to accept integration.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Frankly, the problem we face as an obstacle is that employers prefer to give us work to do here at our charity, but our goal is to integrate people with Down's Syndrome with other people,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003e              Many of the adults who come to Jasmine Society say they have faced a lifetime of rejection.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"I went to look for work, but the problem was no one would hire me. I want people to hear this. No one accepts me!\" says Yazan Al-Qubani.\u003cbr/\u003e              Alrub says discrimination against people with Down's Syndrome is completely unacceptable.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"It is not reasonable to have a person with Down's Syndrome have to wear sunglasses when doing a job interview just to be treated like anybody else. Just because of their facial features, they are rejected,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003e              Fortunately Ayman Ashaib's struggle to find work and be accepted paid off and had a happy ending. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"I love my managers, my work, my friends, my life and the whole world.
