That's how I remember him,\" said Trieu.\u003cbr/\u003e              Cruz is accused of killing 17 people on Wednesday during a shooting rampage at the school.\u003cbr/\u003e              Trieu says Cruz changed after the death of his father and didn't really have anyone to turn to.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"We all should have been there for him and he had no one to go to. And I feel sorry for him. When I first talked to him in class he talked to me as a normal friend would. And eventually his father had passed away. And ever since then he was being really quite a more reserved in class. And I saw him at the Dollar Tree where we works at next to Magnolia and I talked to him, he's my cashier and he said you know he's building money for his family.
