Our duties were to enter the city to get information of moving activities and important locations of the enemy,\" said No, the second youngest member of the squad, who was then only 19.\u003cbr/\u003e              No and her team travelled from markets to markets to sell conical hats, a perfect cover for her to observe enemy's movements and to learn of fastest routes in and out of the city.\u003cbr/\u003e              A hat seller by day, at night, she got trained with riffles and antitank grenade launchers while mobilizing local families to support the revolutionary forces.\u003cbr/\u003e              The disease she blamed on agent orange that she was exposed to during the years she spent in Hue forests serving in the army.\u003cbr/\u003e              Unlike the fights in other locations which lasted for just few days, the northern army held control of Hue for almost a month because they faced counter-attack by the US army and had to retrieve. \u003cbr/\u003e              The Tet Offensive was a tactical setback for the Communist, but a strategic victory and a turning point of the war.\u003cbr/\u003e              On Wednesday, over a thousand veterans who fought the Hue battles gathered to commemorate the 50th anniversary.\u003cbr/\u003e              While army officer's speech praised the victory, remembered the fallen communist troops, the deaths of civilians, American and southern troops were not mentioned.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"To get such a victory, many people had died, from both sides.
