He said he was \"flabbergasted and shocked\" when allegations of sexual misconduct emerged.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"When the curtain came down on Harvey and I was flabbergasted and shocked, only because, fortunately he was never in my orbit and - we met him, '92, he gave me the creeps and I said 'Lets not work with that guy' and never did, I never did a Weinstein film,\" Oldman said backstage at the Globes, Sunday (7 JAN. 2018). \u003cbr/\u003e              \"But when the curtain came down on that, I thought, I looked at it as 'it's evolution, A wheel is turning another, you know, it's turning a notch in the evolutionary wheel that we're still, we're still coming out of the mists of time, you know? DeMille Award for lifetime achievement - the first black woman to do so. \u003cbr/\u003e              She weaved together her own personal narrative and memories of seeing Sidney Poitier win an Academy Award when she was a girl, with the story of Recy Taylor and the #MeToo movement into the most memorable, and moving moment of the evening\u003cbr/\u003e              \"For too long women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men,\" said Winfrey. \"But their time is up. Their time is up!\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Natalie Portman threw shade at the all-male directing nominees - while presenting that award - and then Geena Davis did the same for the actors.
