There's not like a school or class. I think mostly you have to kind of go onto YouTube and you can check anything out. But there's a lot more female electronic music producers than there were five years ago. Pop music, I've just never seen one and I don't know why.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              The EDM star has collaborated with a number of female producers in the dance genre and noted that many pop writers are women. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"Pop writers, half the writers are women, like half the songwriters are women - great songwriters that become stars in their own right like Julia Michaels, girls like Elsie, who wrote with... There's a lot of women who write with Major Lazer, a lot of great records. Karen Mo, who wrote the single for the new EP. But in the pop world there's not any real producers that I'm familiar with. In the dance world there's quite a few. There's girls like Mija, this girl Tigerlily, there's girls like - who is the Korean girl that you guys work with? Who? No. The producer... off the top of my head. But there's probably about... There's Anna Lunoe, who we work with. There's Nina Las Vegas. There's a lot of female producers in dance music. There's one really great one in hip-hop named WondaGurl, who I've worked with.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Diplo pointed to a few pop exceptions - like former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello, who produced her own demo. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"Her first record she gave me was on a GarageBand. She recorded the piano and everything herself. So technically that is producing her own records, her writing demos. And anybody can do that. Anybody can record on their computer. I think that's just out of necessity they learn it. And it doesn't matter where I go, everybody just has it. It's accessible. And a lot of times, it's a boys club. So if I have this program, I'll tell my friend about it. We hang out.
