It's now eyeing potential franchises around the world.\u003cbr/\u003e              STORYLINE:\u003cbr/\u003e              This might be as you have never seen an avocado before.\u003cbr/\u003e              It's two avocado halves filled with hummus, then elaborately decorated with spices and flowers.\u003cbr/\u003e              For the social media user hoping to make their friends green with envy, Amsterdam's The Avocado Show may be a good place to start.\u003cbr/\u003e              The city centre eatery opened in March this year and has been turning social media feeds green ever since.\u003cbr/\u003e              It claims to be Europe's first all-avocado restaurant. \u003cbr/\u003e              The vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu is filled with green dishes, including this 'Avo Garden'.\u003cbr/\u003e              Some dishes borrow from sushi recipes and its fondness for the seeded green fruit.\u003cbr/\u003e              This 'Poke Bowl' is inspired by Hawaiian cuisine. It's filled with raw salmon, seaweed salad, fish caviar and sushi rice. It's sat in a rose bowl made from avocado.\u003cbr/\u003e              Manager Jay Greenslade says its two Dutch owners were inspired by an online trend for extravagant food styling.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"The idea came from Instagram,\" he says. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"Two Dutch guys saw the opportunity through various Instagram profiles that are based on avocados and food styling, the popularity is incredible. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"So, they just figured if we can make a restaurant that serves food that looks as good as this and also tastes amazing. It's gotta be sure to succeed.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Food styling is definitely a big thing these days, people will ... the first thing they do is see the food, of course. So, you kind of eat it with your eyes before you even taste it. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"So, food styling is definitely a big deal in the restaurant industry these days, yeah.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Aside from its unique menu, part of the restaurant's success is down to its popularity online, particularly picture-sharing app Instagram.\u003cbr/\u003e              Greenslade says they had around 36,000 followers on the site before they even opened in March.\u003cbr/\u003e              They now have almost 84,000 followers and have been tagged in almost 4,000 picture posts.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Even before we opened the door, we had I think it was about 36,000 followers on Instagram, which is quite incredible,\" says Greenslade.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"I don't imagine there can be many restaurants, if any, out there that have ever had that kind of following before opening the doors. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"Since then, we've more than doubled, that's in the space of six months. So, it's a very, very good tool for getting the word out there. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"And we have hundreds of people a day that come here because they've seen us on Instagram.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Greenslade says they've been shocked by interest from afar.\u003cbr/\u003e              One family, flying from the United States to Israel, had just two hours to kill during a stopover at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. So, they hopped in a taxi and came to the restaurant for lunch.\u003cbr/\u003e              Greenslade says they're particularly popular with female customers. About 80 percent of diners are women. \u003cbr/\u003e              Sieglinde Van Roon and her 15-year-old daughter Dana are visiting the cafe from Emmeloord in the Netherlands.\u003cbr/\u003e              Avocado fan Dana says she saw the restaurant's green-tinged food photos online and had to visit.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's very good, yes. She gave the tip for this, for The Avocado Show, she's an avocado fan and she liked to come here. So, we enjoy now Amsterdam and The Avocado Show,\" says 53-year-old Sieglinde.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"I saw all those pictures on Instagram and I thought; 'Yes, I want to be there,\" says Dana.\u003cbr/\u003e              The restaurant's menu has dishes for meat-eaters too. This 'Bun Burger' uses two avocado buns instead of bread.\u003cbr/\u003e              It's filled with smoked 'ossenworst', a Dutch raw beef sausage and is served with nachos and salsa.\u003cbr/\u003e              Greenslade says the restaurant can get through some 300 avocados a day.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Funnily enough, I'm surrounded by avocados on a daily basis, but actually I don't really eat that much. So, I'm not sick of them at all, no,\" he says. \u003cbr/\u003e              The restaurant isn't just popular with social media users.\u003cbr/\u003e              It received around 80 franchise requests before even opening, that grew to over 150.
