Hundreds of spectators watched the three-mile procession which started...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eEmergency workers were honoured during Mexico City's Day of Dead parade on Saturday which was dedicated to the victims of the September 19 earthquake.\u003cbr/\u003e              Hundreds of spectators watched the three-mile procession which started from Reforma avenue and finished at Zocalo square. \u003cbr/\u003e              The spectacle began last year as a part of traditional Day of the Dead celebrations.\u003cbr/\u003e              It included floats, giant skeleton marionettes, Aztec warriors and more than 800 volunteers in costumes.\u003cbr/\u003e              The idea for the parade was born out of the imagination of a scriptwriter for last year's James Bond movie \"Spectre.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Traditionally, Mexicans set up altars with photographs of the dead and plates of their favourite foods in their homes during the Day of the Dead celebrations. \u003cbr/\u003e              They gather at their loved ones' gravesides to drink, sing and talk to the dead.\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              Mexico City - 28 October 2017\u003cbr/\u003e              1.
