And an Egyptian gallery is exhibiting there - the first from the country ever to do so.                           ...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eLEAD IN:\u003cbr/\u003e              Frieze, one of the world's most influential art fairs, is underway in London.\u003cbr/\u003e              And an Egyptian gallery is exhibiting there - the first from the country ever to do so.\u003cbr/\u003e              \u003cbr/\u003e              STORY-LINE:\u003cbr/\u003e              It's the hottest ticket in town for contemporary art.\u003cbr/\u003e              Frieze London is back for its fifteenth year, bringing curators, artists, collectors, galleries and critics to the British capital.\u003cbr/\u003e              Sixty-thousand people are expected to pour through its doors over the next few days.\u003cbr/\u003e              They'll be able to browse a huge range of work from across the world - including some produced by Middle Eastern artists.\u003cbr/\u003e              Cairo-based Gypsum Gallery has three artists on display.\u003cbr/\u003e              'Our Prehistoric Fate' by Egyptian artist Basim Magdy plays with dinosaur imagery.\u003cbr/\u003e              While sculptures by fellow Egyptian Taha Behal have an industrial, architectural quality.\u003cbr/\u003e              And Kuwait-born, Lebanon-based Tamara Al-Samerraei has three dark and atmospheric paintings in the gallery space.\u003cbr/\u003e              Aleya Hamza says the artists are all grappling with the theme of time but have \"very, very different approaches\". \u003cbr/\u003e              She says the works \"all bounce off each other\".\u003cbr/\u003e              Last year, Gypsum only exhibited at the 'live' section of the fair which showcases performance art.\u003cbr/\u003e              But Hamza has decided to return this year with a booth to show these works.\u003cbr/\u003e              Gypsum is the first Egyptian gallery to participate in Frieze and its owner says that's down to having a different approach compared to her contemporaries back home.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"I think most of the other Egyptian galleries are older galleries, they're quite established and they're more inward looking, so they would present for a local audience or maybe a regional audience, whereas in my case I'm very much interested in the international platform,\" she says.\u003cbr/\u003e              Frieze London runs until 8 October.\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              London - 4 October 2017\u003cbr/\u003e              1.
