But in this case, it's only because of Susan I stepped in front of the camera to tell a whole bunch of stories that Susan was able to pull out of me,\" Spielberg said. \u003cbr/\u003e              The film features interviews with friends, family, and collaborators, including Martin Scorsese, John Williams, Tom Hanks, and George Lucas.\u003cbr/\u003e              Spielberg doesn't feel that seeing a film about himself is as surreal as it sounds. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's less odd and weird than kind of informative because I'm always looking forward to make the movies that I'm currently making, or the movies that I'm planning to make in the future. I rarely really have even time to indulge and look back at the other films, unless I'm showing 'E.T.' to my grandchildren for the first time,\" Spielberg said. \u003cbr/\u003e              He actually found the process therapeutic, especially the process of seeing how his films relate to his family and personal life.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"But also being able to see everything in continuity, it's something that I've never done before. I've never actually watched my films unspool through another filmmaker's point of view and understand a little bit better about myself and I think that's what Susan did,\" Spielberg said.\u003cbr/\u003e              While Spielberg found value in the process, Lacy had a different challenge. She had to direct a documentary about the life of one of cinema's greatest directors. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"I mean it's enormously challenging and I try not to think too much about that. Actually, I think the privilege of being able to tell stories of artists who I admire - it's a privilege and I feel a tremendous responsibility to get it right, to tell that story right, and to have it have depth and to try to get beneath the surface in some way that helps the audience know the work better. That's always my goal. Who is the man behind, or the woman behind the work,\" Lacy said.\u003cbr/\u003e              While remaining quite prolific in his filmmaking these days, Spielberg doesn't have a routine for the types of film projects he decided to take on. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"I don't chart it out or plan it ahead of time. I don't have some kind of a map of, you know, a strategy of any kind. I kind of - I'm very reactive to material. I'm very reactive to ideas, reactive to my own ideas, and things that I hear about and I read. So I don't really switch back and forth because that's the plan. If something like 'The Post,' which is coming out, grabs me, which I made very, very quickly because I found it to be very relevant,\" Spielberg said.\u003cbr/\u003e              Due out later this year, the film is based on the true account of the Washington Post's decision to publish the Pentagon Papers, and the scandal that followed. It stars Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.\u003cbr/\u003e              Spielberg's other project is the sci-fi thriller, \"Ready Player One.\" \u003cbr/\u003e              \"Something that took three years, like 'Ready Player One' coming out next year, which is the antithesis, it's the cultural opposite of 'The Post,' I will be able to jump back into boyhood and make a film like that. But it's not planned,\" Spielberg said.\u003cbr/\u003e              That hits theaters in 2018.  \u003cbr/\u003e              Spielberg was also asked about Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein, who earlier in the day issued a statement following a New York Times article that chronicled decades of sexual harassment. Spielberg admitted he had a lot to say on the subject, but didn't feel the red carpet was the right place. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"For one thing, I think that it is a subject that is not on keynote for what we are talking about here tonight. It's a subject I don't shy from, but it's not relevant to what we're discussing about Susan's movie today.
