He claimed that the electronic voting results were hacked into and manipulated in favour of Kenyatta. \u003cbr/\u003e              The president had won a second term with 54 percent of the vote.\u003cbr/\u003e              The court says the Aug. 8 election was not conducted with accordance with the constitution.\u003cbr/\u003e              Odinga's lawyer had asked the court to invalidate Kenyatta's win, saying a scrutiny of the forms used to tally the votes had anomalies that affected nearly 5 million votes.\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              Nairobi - 1 September 2017\u003cbr/\u003e              1. And I hope that the rest of the country is going to follow suit to show that constitutionalism and the law is important in the running of a democratic state. Secondly, you know that the decision that has been rendered by the court means that there is going to be a new fresh presidential elections in 60 days and the court has declared by the winner of the majority in the court that the previous elections were not conducted in accordance with the constitution of the law. We hope that this time around they will not make the mistake of generating through a computer somebody as president of the Republic of Kenya. In 2013 the electoral commission was found to have committed certain offences relating to the law of procurement. And this time around what the electoral commission did was reasonable in the sense that they wanted to declare or establish government against the constitution of the land and therefore the commission is on trial.
