Geronimo Branescu, director of the...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eRomania's food safety chief said on Friday that there aren't any indications of more pesticide-tainted eggs in the country, hours after officials incinerated a ton of pasteurised yolks.\u003cbr/\u003e              Geronimo Branescu, director of the government Veterinary Health and Food Safety Authority, said there was no suspicion or notification from the EU about another lot of eggs tainted with the pesticide Fipronil.\u003cbr/\u003e              Branescu said the 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds) of yolks which came from Germany were incinerated on Friday morning in the western city of Timisoara. \u003cbr/\u003e              The yolks would have been used in food products and cosmetics.\u003cbr/\u003e              About 100 kilometres (62 miles) west of Bucharest, Toneli Avicola Gaesti produces millions of eggs and distributes them all over the country and Europe feeding people all over the continent. \u003cbr/\u003e              This farm has not been linked to Fipronil contamination issue.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"We are making no mistakes here,\" said Aurora Alexandru, a veterinarian doctor and food safety expert at the facility. \"No one takes any risks,\" she adds.\u003cbr/\u003e              Aurora has worked in this business for more than 30 years and said an extremely high importance is given to the medicines administered to the birds. \u003cbr/\u003e              She says that this farm Toneli Avicola Gaesti has not been affected most likely because, \"We're so thoroughly analysed - like we check our birds and the eggs they produce. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"We send eggs weekly to be checked for salmonella and monthly we send eggs to be checked for freshness and the same goes for birds' food.\"\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              Gaesti - 11 August 2017\u003cbr/\u003e              1.
