The city can enforce the law,\" said attorney Erica Dubno, who represents some of the adult entertainment shops. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"The city has agreed that during this period of time where we still have continuing legal challenges that they are going to hold off and maintain the status quo that has existed for the last 16 years.\"\u003cbr/\u003e              Dubno says the legal restrictions put both the small businesses and freedom of expression in jeopardy. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"These are businesses that should not necessarily just be pushed away just because you disagree with some of the expression that they offer,\" said Dubno. \u003cbr/\u003e              Some locals agree. \u003cbr/\u003e              \"It's all part of the bringing in the tourists and it's part of what's New York,\" said Nilda Johnson, who lives near Times Square.\u003cbr/\u003e              But Musaab Muhammad, visiting New York from Michigan, sides with the city.\u003cbr/\u003e              \"Times Square is a brand that the New York City owns and they have a right to protect it,\" Muhammad said.\u003cbr/\u003e              Dubno is asking the state Court of Appeals to reconsider. \u003cbr/\u003e              If that fails, the attorney plans to go to the US Supreme Court.\u003cbr/\u003e            \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e              New York - 4 August 2017\u003cbr/\u003e              1.
