The event, which took place at the MetLife Stadium, was part of the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Festival known as IIFA. Zinta spoke about Kavach - a new emergency response service aimed at women.The actress said \"women's safety is not just a problem in India, it's actually a global issue.\"\"Kavach is actually a total and holistic solution to women safety,\" explained the star. \"It is privatizing emergency response at the press of a button but it's backed with higher technology of forensic support. So to put it simply, if anything ever went wrong you could subscribe to this app or do you have a physical device. A lot of people prefer an app and not a device but basically if you press the button somebody is going to come and look out for you. Not just somebody coming to look out for you, it will also help in connecting all your forensic evidence.\"Directors Kabir Khan and Vishesh Bhatt addressed the advancements that the Indian film industry has achieved in filmmaking. Bhatt focused on the issues of intellectual property law in India while Khan encouraged more Indian storytelling.\"Slumdog Millionaire\" actor Anil Kapoor spoke about the difference between budgets in the US and India.He is currently the star of \"24: India\" - which is based on the U.S. series starring Kiefer Sutherland.Kapoor said in America the budget for one episode of \"24\" is somewhere in the region \"three to four million dollars,\" whereas in India an episode can be produced for a tenth of the price.\"In India I was doing it roughly for $200,000,\" he said.\"We have great technicians. But they just has to be guaranteed  disciplined, so that was my experience. So when I did '24' and obviously it was well received and obviously there's a lot to learn and it will work even better in the third season, we did the second season. I think what was there, the right attitude was not there. People are - took IP rights too casually. I think the challenge is how do we start building our own IPs and  how do we export those ideas to the rest of the world? I think that's an interesting challenge and the opportunity is phenomenal.\"11. SOUNDBITE (English) Kabir Khan, Director:\"There is something very inherently Bollywood in the Hindi film industry and the danger is not to lose that certain joy of storytelling that we have which we definitely must nurture and keep going with that. But at the same time we need to allow space to develop for new filmmakers, you know,  people who probably have not a not grown up in the culture watching films in song and dance and come up and tell their kind of storytelling and that's happening. You know a lot is made about song and dance but actually some of the top-grossing films of our industry are not really films that have been known for the song and dance.\"12. In this transition and the globalization because it would've been otherwise a very tough journey to do things which would reach out instantly. So I think somewhere I feel the world has become smaller and just sitting at home, sitting in Mumbai, you can reach out to the world.\" 15. With the globalization and the way the West is looking at us. There is a (unintelligible) to the giants over here because I did '24'. They know that I could give them the same results which they get for five to $10 million, I can do it for $200,000. We have great technicians.
