I think that generally speaking parents should decide the best interests of their children unless two things happen - either that their decision is so abusive that it counts as child abuse as it were to let them to do that or that it is harmful to others in some sense or another, of which the most important one is justice, distributive justice, so that, for example, if spending money on a very low probability of benefit and a very large expense would take away from other people the chance of very obviously beneficial treatment, then that shouldn't be permitted but that doesn't apply in this case because they've got huge crowdfunding.\"7.
