At the same time, Constand said, she was bringing Cosby a gift from a mutual acquaintance.Standing at a podium, the lawyer painstakingly reviewed Constand's phone records and police statements, hoping to show she changed her mind about the date of the alleged assault and gave authorities an incomplete picture of her friendship with the TV star.Constand was calm, direct and polite under cross-examination, even when Agrusa's questioning grew pointed and accusatory. Bill Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, is questioning Constand about the nature of her relationship with Bill Cosby before this alleged sexual assault. She talked about visits to the home that Andrea Constand has made, dinners together, and she seized on one where she says they ate by a fireplace -- a fireside, sort of romantic setting. Andrea Constand says she wasn't so sure that it was a romantic setting, and Bill Cosby never said he had a romantic interest in her. He had, however, made several advances or passes. He once touched her on her thigh and he attempted to unbutton her pants, pull down the zipper, and she immediately reacted. She says she told him she was not there for that sort of thing.
