When U.S. President Donald Trump walks through its revolving door later this month, he will be joining an illustrious collection of famous guests. Royalty, diplomats and former presidents are familiar with its luxurious suites and five star dining. Mr Trump will have the choice of three suites, The Royal, The Presidential and The Jerusalem suite, which are normally let for US$5,500 a night. The entire hotel's 233 guest rooms and suites are all reserved for Trump, his family and the US delegation.Each of the three exclusive suites offers a spectacular view overlooking Jerusalem's Old City walls. Sheldon Ritz, Director of Operations at the King David Hotel says it is unclear which set of rooms President Trump will choose, \"he can sleep anywhere, so we are not privileged to let information of course because the security is unbelievable, very high security.\"The Presidential team has the exclusive use of the hotel for his overnight visit. Security will be tight everywhere in the hotel even in the kitchen. Head Chef David Bitton says he doesn't know what the menu will be as Trump's security officers will choose all the products. \"We don't know actually what he wants before,\" says Bitton \"everything that we cook we cook with the security.\"Israeli police are finalizing security arrangements for Trump's visit to the city. Thousands of police officers will take part in the security operation, both in Jerusalem as well as the Ben Gurion national airport. \"The operation will continue for 24 hours and heightened security will continue throughout the visit\" says Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.Trump's first foreign trip as president will also feature stops in Saudi Arabia as well as at the Vatican.
