Exhibits include a cane used by a headmaster to beat Roger Waters while he was at school, and a book recording his misdemeanours and punishments.A nod to the cover of 1977 album \"Animals\" looms large next to the section devoted to \"The Wall,\" with a twist on Battersea Power Station recreated in the room.\"Battersea Power Station, that manifests itself the moment you come around the corner and you stand at this particular spot looks like one solid lump, but when you walk off axis, the paralax starts to disassemble and you realize that it's actually made out of different constituent parts.\"\" explains exhibition designer Ray Winkler, of Stufish Entertainment Architects - a company with a long history of building some of Floyd's best known tour visuals.\"Fans will also have their first look at material never shown before, including footage for \"The Wall\" passed over in favor of Alan Parker's iconic animation.\"We'd started filming on 'The Wall,' we initially filmed quite a lot of live material in Earls Court and then that got scrubbed because we went with the Alan Parker route eventually,\" explains Mason, \"so there's some clips from that, for instance, that certainly I hadn't seen for years.\"The drummer, who notes the band all \"rooted around\" their cellars and attics to contribute to the exhibit, says one of his favorite displays harks back to the band's beginnings.\"There's elements I like all the way through. Pink Floyd, most of the members found themselves in London by the mid '60s, they started making their quite experimental music and became successful and a cult group really around the time they started playing at the UFO club, which this is a representation of\"12. But what we have also done is presented the collaborators, the people they worked with so closely to realize their visions, so the graphic designers, the photographers, the filmmakers, the architects, the engineers and we have sketches and designs and lyrics, a fantastic collection of musical instruments and technology all on show here.\"20.
