The whole point was to \"dissimulate the body's perspective.\" The palette of color was limited to black and white only, to underline this distortion effect.Dutch designer Iris van Herpen said she found inspiration in the gap between light and shadow. This in-between world is what made her name her show \"Between the Lines\". This season she collaborated with architect Philip Beesley and visual artist Esther Stocker.\"She builds special installations that play with two and three dimensionality and the perspective of light and shadow and that's also what I've been doing for this collection,\" explained van Herpen. \"So it's really about the patterns that interfere with the body, the light and the shadow play that creates it as well.\"Paris, 23 January 20171.
