Earlier this month, armed robbers forced their way into a private Paris residence where Kim Kardashian West was staying, tied her up and locked her in a bathroom before making off with more than $10 million worth of jewelry.While promoting her new fall denim line Good American with co-designer Emma Grede Tuesday (18 OCT. 2016), the Kardashian sister opened up about Kim's recent robbery. \"I'm really trying to respect her privacy and let her speak for her situation even though we're sisters,\" explained Kardashian.\"I really just want to give her--her voice and let her talk about that so it is a traumatic thing so I'm just giving her that privacy and respect that I think she deserves. It's been an incredibly traumatic experience for Kim and she's definitely taking some well needed and much deserved time off.\" \"I think it's just a wakeup call for everybody,\" she added.Kardashian also said that no one \"deservers anything like that\" to happen to them but admits the family is \"definitely more aware.\" She said they have made positive changes to their lives but didn't specify how. After being approached by various brands, Kardashian agreed to partner up with Grede to design a denim fashion brand called Good American. With jeans ranging from size zero all the way through 24, the brand aims to cater for many different body shapes.\"I was always body shamed and that was something that was super important to me to really teach girls to love themselves and love their bodies,\" said Khloe Kardashian. \"I was always kind of told I couldn't wear certain jeans because I was too fat to be trendy which was always really hard on me so to do something that is still also super fashionable with this designer denim line and to go from all body shapes-- that is something that sold me and that's what I wanted to partner up with and team up with Emma with.\"The Kardashian sisters are among the leaders that have brought curves into fashion.
