The PJD, which first won elections in 2011 after Arab Spring protests, is now working on building a coalition government.Turnout was just 43 percent, with some Moroccans seeing voting as futile because ultimate power rests with the king.But Medina resident Fatima did bother to cast her ballot. She says she is \"hoping for change\".\"Two of my children are still not able to find jobs. So I'm looking for something new for our people,\" she says.Morocco's national election observer body says voting last week was largely free and fair, though it is investigating sporadic cases of vote-buying and expressed concern about low turnout.Civil servant Fatiha Mezzi thinks this election is \"not the same as before\". \"People are aware of what they truly want,\" she adds.The Interior Ministry has announced that the PJD won 125 of the 395 seats in the Chamber of Representatives. The Party of Authenticity and Modernity, founded by an adviser to the king, won 102 seats, and several other parties shared the rest of the seats.Ninety of the chamber's seats are reserved for women and youth chosen proportionally from the lists of the winning parties.Rabat, Morocco - 7 October 20161.
