Various of crowd cheering as Kim waves and leaves stadiumSTORYLINE:North Korean leader Kim Jong Un attended a giant celebration of the country's youth league Sunday night in Pyongyang.The May Day Stadium, with a capacity for 150,000 seats, was almost packed and the crowd stood and cheered as Kim Jong Un walked in at 8pm (1130 GMT).The event lasted just over an hour, with thousands of torch-carrying youths rushing around the stadium in formation.Fireworks burst above the stadium at the show's climax.It's all because for the first time in 23 years, North Korea gathered members of its main youth organisation for a top meeting in the capital Pyongyang - the 9th Congress of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.The Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League plays a major part in North Korea's social system. Young people between the ages of 14 to 30 are expected to join and take part in activities from study sessions to helping out in major construction projects.By the time of Sunday night's celebration, North Korean state media had not yet reported about what actually happened at the congress, and foreign media were not allowed in.The 28th of August is North Korea's annual Youth Day.The previous, 8th
