The event, which runs until 27 August, is in its 40th year.STORYLINE:The setting is Roman - the sounds classical.This is the unique cultural experience of the International Festival of Drougga.The city's Roman ruins earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1997.Its ancient theatre provides the backdrop for the opening of this year's festival.\"We always tend to start (the festival) with classical music and schedule the commercial (music) later on,\" says festival director Mokhtar Belatek.It is very important for me to include this kind of authentic music along with the commercial type.
