The season was rich in diversity among actors: Fourteen of the 40 Tony nominees for acting in plays and musicals — or 35 percent — are actors of color. And there are more non-whites nominated on the other side of the stage, including choreographer Savion Glover, directors George C. Wolfe and Liesl Tommy, and playwright Danai Gurira. Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio were at the Tonys to support their show, based on Estefan's life, \"Get on Your Feet,\" which has given many Latinos new opportunities on Broadway.   \"We're proud to say that we have the largest Hispanic cast ever in the history of Broadway and I think every night they're telling their own stories up there.
