Mahmud Al-Maliki  is based in Bayda.STORYLINE:Mahmud Al-Maliki is preparing the studio.He is a Quran reciter and he records passages from the holy book here in Bayda..Aged just 26 Al-Maliki, started his Quranic education as a boy of seven. His rigorous training involved attending mosques in his hometown and learning how to recite the Arabic text precisely.The Quran is holy to billions of Muslims around the world, who listen to recitations regularly and recite the verses in their five daily prayers. Al-Maliki's discipline and talent shone through and he was soon assigned as an Imam.His ultimate goal, however, has been to record his recitations and those of his fellow countrymen in a professional way so that they can be heard outside of this north African country.But this has proved difficult in a turbulent Libya, which has been unstable since the 2011 uprisings that ousted Colonel Moammar Gadhafi. Mahmud initially tried to travel abroad to Egypt or import the necessary recording equipment, but both proved difficult. But this all changed three years ago thanks to charitable efforts and the studio is now up and running.\"The studio was ready by 2013 and it began to work effectively. We have named it Al-Maliki Studio for Quran Kareem and we are present in it right now in Al Bayda. We started recording in it and all of the recordings are free to everyone,\" says Mahmud, proudly. Recently, he has fulfilled his biggest dream yet and signed a lifetime contract with a company in Egypt. This will ensure that the recitations recorded in his new studio will reach ears around the world.\"We wish only to honour the Quran as it should be honoured and that we can represent our beloved Libya as best we can,\" says Mahmud.The professional equipment and new lifetime contract means that the calming Quranic recitations exuding from Mahmud's small studio in Bayda will soon be heard and
