Like she's such a strong woman and it's very inspiring to know her and to see what she does with her career, her life,\" said singer Colbie Caillat.Swift was honored for her talents with an award named after her at the annual gala held in Beverly Hills. The only other time BMI presented an award in an artist's name was for Michael Jackson in 1990.It was date night for Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid. The \"Friends\" actress and Snow Patrol musician admitted that they, too, are Swifties.   \"I'm a big fan of Taylor's. Yeah. Separate from that I've gone her concerts and Coco is a big fan,\" said Cox of her 11-year-old daughter. Turns out the pair met one another –and Swift -- at an event at Cox's house.\"Well we have a mutual friend and that's Ed Sheeran who introduced, who brought Johnny and Gary (Lightbody) and Taylor Swift,\" explained Cox. \"But they all came over and we had a big music night and that's where we met.\"Fellow honorees Imagine Dragons discussed their new single \"Not Today,\" which plays on the soundtrack of the emotional novel-turned-film \"Me Before You.\" \"It was kind of like we were watching the movie and it was one of those moments where nobody would look at each other, you know what I mean?
