De Niro also spoke of his reason to pull the vaccine documentary, \"Vaxxed\" from the festival. He initially defended the controversial film, but decided to pull it after some of the claims made in the film were discredited.\"Well I wanted to put it in, and I never get involved in any of the movies. This year, there is a more of a high-tech presence with Virtual Reality, multimedia installations, and social media.
