I mean, that's the nature of the Iranian economy and the way that they do business and the way that they have reach, precisely what we cut off that harm them so much.\"9. Cutaway of senators talkingSTORYLINEThe US Senate Foreign Relations Committee members on Thursday heard from witnesses who have studied the impact of sanctions on Iran's economy and Tehran's ability to export extremism.During the meeting in Washington DC, US senator Marco Rubio, who opposes any deal with Iran, suggested that lifting sanctions will mean Iran will be able to build or buy intercontinental missiles, develop conventional capabilities and expand efforts to export extremism.US senator Ben Cardin asked whether it will be possible to quickly see an economic impact on Iran if sanctions are re-applied in the future. The witnesses offered up two scenarios to committee members.One scenario that suggests Tehran will continue to export extremism, only with a larger budget, once sanctions are lifted.The other scenario was that sanctions did not play a significant role in curtailing Tehran's ability to influence politics in the region and efforts will continue regardless of the nuclear deal.The witnesses agreed that
