The children were able to describe what happened to them and in some cases what they witnessed other children being subjected to, and a pattern that seems very indicative of regular abuse, and in some cases they said they were regularly abused. For instance, in one case a child says that he was beckoned over to where a soldier was, I believe he was in a car, and the soldier called him over and said that he would offer him some individual combat rations and he showed him on his phone, the soldier show the child on his phone a pornographic video of a woman performing oral sex on a man. And then the child went on to explain that the soldier then exposed himself and told the child that he should do what he just saw happen on the video.\"8. Mid of Donovan9. SOUNDBITE (English) Paula Donovan, co-director AIDS-Free World:\"With the very first interview on May 15th, May 5th rather, there is enough indication for a layperson reading that interview that this is not an isolated incident, that this is something that's happening throughout this area to who knows how many victims, that would immediately send up red flags for any person who spoke to that child, that this needed to be stopped immediately and fully investigated, and that not just those six children but all the other children who were mentioned in the interviews needed to be traced and interviewed appropriately and given the appropriate physiological support and ensure that all the evidence that they had that could point to the perpetrators and the bystanders, and the military command all they way up the chain was collected in an appropriate way, but would also ensure that these perpetrators are brought to justice.\"11. Let's secure the mosque.\"STORYLINEFrench prosecutors and military authorities are investigating accusations that French soldiers in Central African Republic (CAR) sexually abused children they were sent to protect.The French probes follow an initial United Nations investigation into the allegations a year ago - all of which were kept secret until a report in the Guardian newspaper Wednesday pushed officials to publicly acknowledge them.About 16 French soldiers were accused of abusing 10 boys, between eight and 15 years old, according to Paula Donovan of activist group AIDS-Free World. Some children were given small meals in exchange, she said. Donovan, whose group is investigating abuses by peacekeepers, says she has seen internal UN documents about the initial probe into the CAR allegations.She told The Associated Press that UN officials heard testimony from the first boy on May 15, followed by others over several weeks until the last testimony on June 24. It is unclear where the children are now, or the alleged perpetrators.A UN worker leaked information about the UN investigation to French authorities last year, the UN Secretary-General's office said in a statement. That worker, identified by the Swedish government as Swede Anders Kompass, has been suspended and is now under internal investigation.The French government was informed of the accusations in late July 2014, the Defence Ministry said in a statement. Military authorities and the Paris prosecutor's office opened a preliminary investigation and investigators went to Central African Republic in August.If the accusations are proven true, the French Defence Ministry said it would ensure \"the strictest sanctions against those responsible for what would be an intolerable attack on the values of a
