STORYLINE:The Seoul Motor Show opens for petrol heads in South Korea.The large exhibition packs 32 different marques displaying over 350 of the latest models.The theme for this year's show is all about technology and design.Hyundai is South Korea's largest car maker, so its natural it should want to showcase its latest range on home turf.One of Hyundai's most important new models for the year ahead is the LF Sonata - a plug-in hybrid promising even more impressive fuel economy figures.\"Through Seoul Motors Show, Hyundai Motors has shown the Asia premiere of the Sonata Plug-in Hybrid to the public as it is the first domestic Plug-in Hybrid car. If Hyundai is South Korea's auto giant, then Samsung flies the flag in the technology sector.The electronics giant teamed up with French automaker, Renault to design this futuristic looking concept vehicle - the EOLAB.This eco-friendly car was first shown at last year's Paris Motor Show, but this is its Asian premiere. The EOLAB is powered by electricity as its main source with a range of 60 kilometres (38 miles) - after its super-efficient petrol engines cut in with a claimed economy of one litre of petrol per 100km (60 miles). EOLAB is 400kg lighter than an average car, which is part of the reason the car returns such impressive fuel efficiency. Team Chief of the Communications Team of Renault-Samsung Lee Jeongkuk says: \"Renault Samsung Motors have shown this Asia premiere car which consumes only one litre for 100km (62 miles) at the 2015 Seoul Motors Show. The car operates electronically until 60km (37.2 miles)  and operates as a petrol engine for over 60km and uses one litre for 100km which was shown as an innovative technology.\" Many international car makers including Bentley, Porsche and Audi are showcasing their 2016 models.Motoring fans of all ages have come from across South Korea to see the latest models in the metal.Lee Min-ho, is an 18-year-old student, he says: \"I've always had these dream cars, cars that I've dreamt of. Those cars were right before my eyes, so it was very good and it was so wonderful. I couldn't even think of anything else because just being able to drive those cars would be so nice.\" 29-year-old Son Hyung-wook is another visitor at the show.
