He said four soldiers died in the convoy attack near Najaf.\u003cbr/\u003eOne tank hit by an rocket-propelled grenade was fired by a peasant, he told reporters, and another peasant shot down a helicopter.\u003cbr/\u003eSahhaf described Richard Perle's resignation as chairman of the Pentagon advisory group as an indication of\u003cbr/\u003edivisions and disputes among US military planners. Perle, 61, had been a vocal advocate of going to war against Iraq.\u003cbr/\u003eSahhaf called Perle a \"Zionist donkey.\"\u003cbr/\u003ePerle resigned on Thursday saying he did not want controversy
