Bush. While it's being released with Bush still in office, the film covers his early years leading up to his decision to invade Iraq.\u003cbr/\u003eJosh Brolin stars George W., with Elizabeth Banks as his wife, Laura. Other members of the all star cast include James Cromwell and Ellen Burstyn as George Sr. and Barbara, as well as Thandie Newton playing Condeleezza Rice.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile the film portrays an empathetic side of the Bush, the often left-leaning Stone has not gotten soft on the man. He says that the American people will continue to pay for the price for the Bush Doctrine for years to come.\u003cbr/\u003eStone added that Bush reminds him of the kind of characters director Frank Capra depicted in his films.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile most of the cast gushed over the message of the film, Dreyfus, who plays Dick Cheney in the film says that while \"W\" provides a fair portrayal of the president, it is not a fair portrayal of the era. Dreyfus felt that the terror and fright that he and other Americans experienced during the 9-11 attacks was absent from the film.
